SISTUHS, Inc. is officially affiliated with Progressive Black Men, Inc. (PBM). PBM is referred to as the official brother organization to SISTUHS, Inc. SISTUHS, Inc. and PBM coordinate activities that are conducive to the upliftment and unification of men and women of African Descent.

The first chapter of Progressive Black Men, Inc. was founded on November 27, 1989 on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. The purpose of PBM is "To reconstruct and redefine the image of the black male through volunteer work, humanitarian aid and community service. PBM's motto is "Collective Knowledge, Collective Effort, Collective Strength" and their official colors are Green and Black.

PBM currently has chapters at Florida State University, Florida A&M University, the University of Florida and the University of South Florida.
