Greetings and welcome to the National website of SISTUHS, Incorporated, an organizationfor women promoting the personal growth and development of African American Women.

Since our inception on the campus of Florida State University on December 3,1992, SISTUHS, Inc has inducted over 2000 members and established seven Chapterswith more in progress. Our Members are dedicated to the uplifting the African– American Community through the mentoring of African- American girls throughinitiatives such as Girls Scouts of America and Pleasant Place Home for PregnantTeens; the support of our African – American brothers with events including BlackMale Appreciation Day; and participation in local and international causes includingBreast Care Awareness, World AIDS Day, March of Dimes, and Black History Month.

Our mission is to continue to honor the past achievements of influential women through the success of our present endeavors and promotion of the future’s promise. As individuals, our Members are active in our community as officers and various board and committee members of organizations including the Black Student Union, NAACP, and National Council of Negro Women. They represent the needs of our people as campus leaders and assist those in need through various volunteer ventures. This legacy of giving back has created many great doctors, lawyers, writers, and professionals that now represent our organization and our mission in their professional capacity—being successful in their careers by being significant our communities.
