Ms. Silverio-Tomlinson serves as the President and CEO of SISTUHS, Incorporated and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the organization and the executive office and supports the organization in the areas of external positioning, fundraising and strategy. Ms. Silverio-Tomlinson knows how to solve challenges and drive execution of action items and top priorities agreed upon by the Leadership Council.
Under her visionary leadership, she has successfully implemented the organization’s first-ever Regional Board of Directors, comprised of dedicated members who play a crucial role in executing programs across the entire organization. This groundbreaking initiative not only enhances operational efficiency but also strengthens the connection between leadership and the over 6,000 members nationwide, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs addressed.
A committed Lifetime Member, ambitious goals, and with years of leadership and strategy implementation, she began her role as the National Director of Public Relations, in her final semester in college, in which she led different initiatives to strengthen the social media platforms to enhance the online presence of the organization. Afterwards, she served as the National Director of Correspondence, in which she oversaw how the organization communicated with Chapters and advanced our external communication. Her dedication to the organization didn’t waver. She went on to serve as the Assistant Directress of Policy, cultivating impactful programs with Four Points of Perfection, Inc. to ensure a plethora of communities were served. In that capacity, she also oversaw the National Director of Membership and Expansion and National Director of Legislation positions, propelling the organization with the Chartering of over 5 Chapters, both Collegiate and Professional, and aiding in improving some of our legislation. Ms. Silverio-Tomlinson also served as the Assistant Directress of Administration, working to magnify the organization's impact in our various channels.
Her specialties in nonprofit, philanthropy, and corporate sectors are evident in her adeptness in strategic fundraising, community engagement, program development, and advocacy. She has successfully designed and implemented initiatives addressing pressing social issues, fostering partnerships with various stakeholders, including corporate sponsors and philanthropic organizations, to maximize impact. Moreover, Ms. Silverio-Tomlinson excels in capacity building, mentoring emerging leaders within the nonprofit sector and promoting best practices in organizational development.
Her experience in corporate partnerships allows her to align business objectives with social impact initiatives, creating mutually beneficial relationships that drive community engagement and corporate social responsibility. She is skilled at leveraging corporate resources to support nonprofit missions, ensuring sustainability and growth for the organizations she serves.
Beyond her role at SISTUHS, Incorporated, Ms. Silverio-Tomlinson is an active member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida and as an advisor for Envision Lead Grow. As a first-generation Brazilian-American, the daughter of immigrants from Brazil, she brings a unique perspective and deep-rooted passion for service to her leadership. Ms. Silverio-Tomlinson graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and became a Chartering Member of the Florida Atlantic University Chapter in 2012. She is currently an engaged member of the Central Florida Professional Chapter, continuing her legacy of commitment to empowerment and community service.

BREANNA EVANS-TAYLOR
Assistant Directress of Administration

Ms. Evans-Taylor serves as the Assistant Directress of Administration, aiming to unite SISTUHS, Incorporated through collaboration, pursuing excellence, and embracing the passion for SISTUHhood. Ms. Evans-Taylor is responsible for leading the operations team while focusing on internal policies and procedures. She also leads the team of holistic project management, helping to push the Organization's projects forward through internal and external partnerships.
Hailing originally from Brooklyn, New York, Ms. Evans-Taylor embarked on a transformative journey at the age of 10, relocating with her family to the vibrant community of Kissimmee, FL. Her commitment to SISTUHS Inc. began during her time at Florida A&M University in 2016, when she joined this incredible sisterhood. Since then, Ms. Evans-Taylor's dedication has been unwavering, as evidenced by her diverse leadership roles.
Since her tenure, Ms. Evans-Taylor has introduced two groundbreaking mentorship programs that have helped shape the future of the organization and paved the way for members' personal and professional advancement. These programs are emblematic of the organization's commitment to holistic well-being, providing technical assitance, and will further strengthen each of our chapters' health.
CHARMION THRASHER
Assistant Directress of Policy

Ms. Thrasher serves as the Assistant Director of Policy at SISTUHS, Incorporated. She is responsible for leading the process to develop, grow, and maintain an influential position for SISTUHS, Incorporates, impacting federal and state public policy initiatives.
Ms. Thrasher was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where she became a student ambassador for the United States and traveled to many countries to promote mutual understanding, increase leadership skills, and prepare other youth to make a difference in their communities. She went on to attend Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she went on to become the Chartering Vice President of the Bethune Cookman University Chapter of SISTUHS, Incorporated. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Thrasher chartered the Jacksonville Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Inc. As the Chartering President, Ms. Thrasher’s commitment to diversity, women empowerment, policy, and equity are what have driven her to bring like-minded women together to enact change. Charmion has applied a racial equity lens to advocacy in financial services and social services.
Currently, Ms. Thrasher lives in Jacksonville, Florida, working as an Organizing Manager working to improve the social disposition of underserved communities every day, and is the owner and CEO of Herbal Radiance Corporation.
HEATHER ROLLINSON
Director of Correspondence

Ms. Rollinson serves as the Director of Correspondence at SISTUHS, Incorporated. She is responsible for leading integrated marketing communications while driving message strategy and executive eminence to advance the organization’s communication goals.
Ms. Rollinson was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University and currently enrolled at Jacksonville University in pursuit of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife while carrying multiple certifications through her doula practice. She joined the Jacksonville Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Incorporated in Fall of 2021, in which she currently serves as the Chaplain. During her time, she has held many leadership roles within the chapter and is on a mission to impact her community through servant leadership.
Ms. Rollinson’s background in education, policy, and product development, has poised her to serve communities, through education, training, and community activism to influence policy changes, and help business owners with process improvements & expansion. Her leadership spans from The Florida State Senate, Healthy Start Coalition, Non-Profit management, the classroom where she was an educator with Duval County Public Schools, and an advisor to teen moms.
Ms. Rollinson currently serves as the Director for FOBT Pipeline Inc. leading development for community partnerships. Cultivating STEM initiatives and promoting healthy beauty habits as the Director of Community Outreach for Jones and Rose Skincare. As well as, using her medical and ministry background to serve globally through International American Medical Mission (IAMM). Heather’s most valued title is Full Spectrum Doula, in which she devotes her time to select clientele, educating and empowering Doulas. Ms. Rollinson prides herself in following in her late mother’s footsteps as a healthcare advocate and finds joy in building her mother’s legacy.
MELKEYA HORNE
Director of Finance & Budget

Ms. Horne serves as the Director of Finance & Budget. With over 10 years of experience in finance, specializing in the nonprofit sector, Ms. Horne has a proven track record in accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. In her role, she develops and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance and sustain the financial health of our organization.
As a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, she obtained a degree in Finance and Accounting and a Master’s degree in Finance from NOVA Southeastern University. Melkeya has always had a passion for Finance and the desire to help others become financially resilient. Her debut book, “No Money, No Thank You! How Your Financial Season Affects Your Relationships”, helps individuals get comfortable with money and shifting self-limiting beliefs may make a difference between feeling stuck and thriving.
Ms. Horne joined SISTUHS, Incorporated in April of 2019 and has helped the organization evolve. Her commitment to the organization is unwavering and as the Director of Finance and Budget, she plans to continue guiding the organization and its members to financial freedom.
Ms. Horne was born and currently resides in the lovely city of Miami, Florida where she is currently raising her beautiful daughter, Mykala.
ASHANTA WILLIAMSON
Director of Legislation

Ms. Williamson serves as the Director of Legislation. Exhibiting a warmth of personality and enthusiastic spirit, she is committed to public service initiatives. As a thought leader and advocate for helping and developing others, she is responsible for developing and promoting the legislative agenda of the organization and coordinating with members of both collegiate and professional chapters. Her niche is helping non-profit organizations, corporations, higher education leaders, and individuals to maximize their ability to make an impact in their communities and those they are surrounded by.
With over 15 years of Public Affairs and Public Policy experience, she served in numerous roles for The Division of Institutional Advancement for her Alma Mater Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL. Ms. Williamson prides herself in securing the signing of Senate Bill 472 that will see the statue of civil-rights leader and educator Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, to replace the statue of Confederate Gen. Edmund Kirby Smith to represent Florida in National Statuary Hall in Washington D.C. Florida is now the first state in the union to honor an African-American woman in the national hall. She also secured over $9 Million in state funding and raised over $8.7 Million for Bethune-Cookman University's Annual Legacy Awards Gala. Throughout her career she has raised over $30 Million for philanthropic initiatives within the State of Florida.
Currently, Ms. Williamson serves as CEO of Ashanta Williamson & Company, a leading management and professional services company Ashanta received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Bethune-Cookman University. She is a member of NextUp Jacksonville Board of Commission, I AM THE PRIZE, Inc. Board of Directors, An Alumna of Next Generation with Leadership Jacksonville and the Legacy League, a 2020 Stein Fellow with United-Way of Northeast Florida, David and Linda Stein Fellowship, A Big Sister with Big Brother Big Sister of Northeast Florida Achievers For Life Mentoring Program, Charter Member of The Jacksonville Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Incorporated, the former Ms. Black Sunshine State International Ambassador representing the State of Florida, and host of the World Class Woman Conference
Ms. Williamson has the ability to inspire great confidence in people and exudes ambition, exceptional character, and a sheer determination to innovate new and exciting ways to assist and inspire our youth and impact communities. Most importantly, she is the Mother to her two children, Gabriel and Elizabeth in West Palm Beach, Florida.
KHEYANNA SUAREZ
Director of Membership & Expansion

Ms. Suarez serves as the Director of Membership and Expansion as SISTUHS, Incorporated. She is responsible for leading SISTUHS’s field operations to ensure membership growth and chapter sustainability. Her vision for this department includes strengthening the Collegiate to Professional Chapter pipeline, developing initiatives to increase Member-At-Large engagement, and addressing barriers to re-engagement within the organization.
Originally from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Ms. Suarez spent much of her upbringing in South Florida. Her commitment to SISTUHS, Incorporated began in the Fall of 2014 at Florida Atlantic University, where she served in various leadership roles, and ultimately graduated in 2017 with a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Ms. Suarez joined the Broward County Professional Chapter, serving as Parliamentarian and Elder, while assisting with the chartering of the Florida International University Chapter in 2018. She was also honored to stand as a proxy for the National Board of Directors at the University of Central Florida Induction Ceremony. She also served in various leadership roles in the Metro-Atlanta Professional Chapter.
Ms. Suarez began her career as a Community Health Educator with Planned Parenthood, later becoming the Youth Organizer for the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach Youth Councils, overseeing Planned Parenthood Generation Action Collegiate Chapters throughout Florida. In 2019, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a Master’s in Public Health from Emory University, specializing in Health Policy and Management, with a certificate in Maternal and Child Health. After graduating, she transitioned into HIV Prevention and currently works as a Strategy & Transformation Healthcare Consultant. Her certification in Change Management will be instrumental in her role as Director of Membership and Expansion, providing her with the skills to manage growth, engage members, and implement smooth organizational changes. This expertise will ensure sustainable expansion, effective transitions, and clear communication across chapters.
DR. LATAISIA JONES, Ph.D.
Director of Programs

Dr. Jones serves as the Director of Programs at SISTUHS, Incorporated. She is responsible for researching, planning, developing and evaluating SISTUHS, Incorporated programs and projects. She prides herself in ensuring that all programs are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Dr. Jones was born in Virginia and has lived in various places due to her military family upbringing and educational background. She joined the North Florida Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Incorporated in the Fall of 2015. She was appointed as the Director of Programs in 2018 and elected to remain in office from 2019-2021. Dr. Jones then served as the 2021-2023 Assistant Directress of Administration where she created initiatives like the Tag A SISTUH interview series and advanced the president and vice president surveys to expand the personal and professional development workshop opportunities provided by SISTUHS, Incorporated.
After graduating as the first African American to earn her Ph.D. from the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Florida State University, Dr. Jones moved to the Washington, D.C. area to start her career journey.
