SISTUHS Incorporated and Progressive Black Men, Incorporated Launch Joint Get Out the Vote Mobilization Campaign

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

SISTUHS, Incorporated and Progressive Black Men, Incorporated, two prominent organizations dedicated to the empowerment and advancement of Black communities, are excited to announce a collaborative effort to launch a joint Get Out the Vote (GOTV) mobilization campaign ahead of the upcoming elections.

This initiative aims to increase voter registration, education, and turnout within Black communities, emphasizing the importance of civic engagement and participation in the democratic process. The campaign will focus on several key activities:

  1. Voter Registration Drives: Coordinated efforts to host voter registration events at community centers, churches, and universities, ensuring that all eligible voters have the opportunity to register.

  2. Educational Workshops: Informational sessions to educate voters on their rights, the voting process, and key issues at stake in the upcoming elections. These workshops will be held both in-person and virtually to maximize accessibility.

  3. Community Outreach: Utilizing social media, local media, and grassroots efforts to spread awareness and encourage community members to participate in the elections. This includes door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and text messaging campaigns.

  4. Partnerships with Local Organizations: Collaborating with other local civic and social organizations to amplify the reach and impact of the GOTV efforts. This includes working with faith-based groups, youth organizations, and advocacy groups.

  5. Transportation Services: Providing free transportation to polling places for those who need it, ensuring that logistical challenges do not prevent anyone from voting.

"We are thrilled to partner with Progressive Black Men on this vital initiative. Voting is a fundamental right and an essential part of making our voices heard. Through this campaign, we aim to empower our communities to take action and make a difference in the upcoming elections.”

- National Directress Jessica Kelly Silverio-Tomlinson
